Former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki had a great start to her 2014 Wimbledon journey after cruising into the second week, but suffered a tough loss in the fourth round to Czech player Barbora Zahlavova Strycova. Stepping onto the grass, she rocked various pieces from the adidas Stella McCartney fashion line, starting with the Barricade Tennis Dress featuring a 3-in-1 package with a pantie and a bra for added support and coverage on the court. The double-layered mesh fabric provided extra breathability that kept her cool on the court of Wimby, and the cut out in the back added style to her game.

She paired the top with the classic Barricade Warm up Tennis Jacket that includes the similar mesh fabric from the Stella McCartney dress to help provide extra breathability, and keep her cool during her pre-match warm up. The ventilation slits on the back of the sleeves helped give her a better range of motion when she hit the ball, and the timeless white color of the jacket definitely makes it a fashionable pick.

Top 20 player player Andrea Petkovic is continuing her strong form following a good showing at Roland Garros. She came out of the gates strong at Wimbledon, making it to the third round, but she fell in the fourth round to former Wimbledon Junior champion Genie Bouchard.  Maria Kirilenko is another adidas by Stella McCartney athlete who got off to a positive start in her first round match at Wimbledon, coming back from an injury to upset Sloane Stephens. She struggled in the second round against Shuai Peng of China, but we hope to see more of her in the near future.

Petkovic and Kirilenko both stepped out onto the green lawn in classic Stella pieces, starting with the Barricade Tennis Tank, featuring mesh panels in the back that gave both players great ventilation on the court to keep them cool. The collar, front placket, and ruffle at the bottom make this tank a fashionable and stylish choice. On the brisker days on Wimbledon, Andrea and Maria wore the lightweight Barricade Tennis Tee in white, to keep them warm but feeling cool on the court.

To pair with the top, Petkovic and Kirilenko both wore the latest edition of the Stella McCartney Barricade Tennis Skort that features built-in tights, and an elastic waistband to add extra comfort. This skort also has the same sweat-wicking and quick dry additions that allow for superior moisture control to ensure both players stay cool and relaxed during a long match. The soft pleats add extra style to this timeless white skort, and enhance movement on the court.

As far as shoes go, Wozniacki, Petkovic, and Kirilenko all went with the Stella McCartney Barricade Shoe, which is an excellent choice due to its durability, ventilation, and comfort. In addition, it is lightweight, allowing all three players to move freely and quickly on the Wimbledon grass.
