Radical MP 18/20 Tennis Racquet Details
The Radical MP 18/20 shares the same specs as the current Radical MP 16×19, but thanks to the denser string pattern, the 18/20 provides enhanced control and precision. The racquet still features HEAD’s Variable beam cross-section for the perfect balance of power, control, and spin. The state-of-the-art Auxetic construction located in the racquet bridge enhances the feedback at contact. It gives tennis players the confidence to go for their shots. The Radical series includes Graphene Inside that strengthens the frame, provides greater stability, and enhances energy transfer from racquet to ball. The larger Sound Grommets promote more string movement to optimize the sound and vibration at impact.
Why the 18/20 Pattern?
What makes the Radical MP 18/20 unique is that is one of the only lightweight dense pattern racquets available. If you do not swing with a modern stroke style, a dense pattern can greatly improve directional accuracy. If you play with a lot of topspin and break strings frequently, this dense pattern will increase your string life. It will provide added precision to attack the ball with confidence. Though HEAD’s catalog includes a Speed Pro, Gravity Pro, and Prestige Pro which have 18×20 patterns, the Radical MP offers a combination of mobility and control for creative shot makers.
