Shoes of the Future: Nike Lunar Ballistec 1.5

Hey tennis fans. I want to give you all a first hand look into Nike‘s newest addition to their footwear line, the Nike Lunar Ballistec 1.5. Nike has made different versions of this shoe in the past, but I think this one is a clear favorite to be supreme. I was given the chance to try these bad boys for a while, and I was blown away by how great they were.

As soon as I put these shoes on, I knew they’d be perfect for me. The first thing I noticed is how snug the shoe fits around my foot after tying my laces. This customized fitting prevents injury, as well as gives me piece of mind knowing that this shoe was designed with the customer in mind. I’ve had shoes in the past that were one-size fits all with the laces, and if I ever sprinted suddenly, my shoes would fly off. I don’t have this problem with these shoes because the tongue works in unison with the laces, allowing for that guaranteed lock-in.

This split color scheme makes them easy to match with many shorts, and you know how the saying goes: when you look good, you play good!

Nike Lunar Ballistec 1.5 sideLike every other tennis player who’s shopped for shoes, I always have to see how stable my new shoes will be when I’m making sudden cuts on the court. The Lunar Ballistec 1.5 gives me unmatched stability all around, so rolling an ankle isn’t an issue. The XDR Rubber outsole also helps with stabilizing the shoe, but we’ll discuss that in just a second. The midsole helps keep the heel and foot centered in place, as well as cushion my impact on the court. The XDR Rubber on the outsole provides outstanding durability, which is important for me because I normally go through shoes within a few months. I’ve learned over the years the true value of the Court Ballistecs, as this line has proven to be the one that lasts me the longest, and who doesn’t like to get the most bang for their buck?.Nike Lunar Ballistec 1.5 front On top of their incredible durability, Nike still throws in their 6 month outsole warranty, which is just another reason to love them.

I can say for certain that if you’re looking for a pair of shoes that looks cool, has great support, and will last you longer than other shoes, then you have found your shoemate. That’s all for now folks, so let me know what you think about these shoes on the comments below!
