New Balance has a brand new collection just in time for the French Open. The sporty brand keeps it interesting by adding a new vibrate color, Velocity Red, into the mix of classic pieces designed for high performance and function on the court. Young Canadian star, Milos Raonic, will be sporting the line at Roland Garros this year. Raonic began his partnership with New Balance in 2013, developing a tennis line with the brand that features all the wants and needs competitive players look for. He also gives feedback to designers throughout the phases of product development, which is pretty cool.
First up is the Geospeed Polo that offers a timeless look featuring a houndstooth pattern, a three-button placket and a rib-knit collar for comfort. It includes ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) of 30 which provides protection against harmful UV rays during those long sets. This polo incorporates New Balance’s Lightning Dry technology for wicking away moisture and for dryness.
The Baseline Polo also features the same UV protection and moisture wicking technology. The relaxed fit and raglan sleeves offer a comfortable fit, leaving room for freedom of movement.
The Approach Short keeps your look classic, coordinating nicely with each top in this collection. It features performance bonuses like moisture control, built-in brief and bonded seams that eliminate distractions on the court. Up your tennis style with the Court Short that features a plaid design and a french terry lined elastic waistband for a comfortable fit. (Both shorts have a 9 inch inseam if you were wondering about length.)
New Balance has a great looking warm-up suit this season, the Geospeed Jacket and Pant. Both pieces are wind and water resistant and incorporate quick-dry lining in the pockets for wicking away sweat. The zip cuffs at the bottom of the pant make these easy to slip on and off over shoes. The super comfy Big Brand Tee features their big, bold logo on the front. The relaxed fit leaves room for movement along with fabric that includes UV protection and moisture control.
Last in this collection are the men’s limited edition France 996 tennis shoes. These shoes stand up to wear and tear and backed by a one year NDurance durability guarantee.
