If you’re like me, you’re counting down to the start of the spring season. I’ve been itching to get back on the tennis court before I lose my rhythm. I don’t know about you, but I’m not cut out for outdoor tennis in winter. Thankfully I live in one of the few states with warmer climate this time of the year, so it looks like I may be able to scratch that itch sooner than later.
When you’re ready to make your return to the court, you’ll need some fresh gear to usher in the new year and season. And I’ve got the scoop on some of the latest spring styles you can add to your tennis wardrobe. Let’s kick things off with pastel shades. Light pink, baby blue, salmon. Soft hues are common in the spring. If you’re timid when it comes to expression of colors, you’ll love experimenting with styles like these:

Show your aggressive fashion flair with new colorblock styles. I’m talking bold, bright colors paired together for a major Va Va Voom effect that’ll definitely get you noticed! Here’s a good example with the adidas Adizero Tennis Dress, which Ana Ivanovic wore at the 2015 Australian Open. Finally, if you don’t own an item in graphic print, what are you waiting for? Graphics offer a happy medium between soft, pastel colors and audacious colorblock shades. With graphic prints, you can highlight your edgy style, but with some restraint on color. The EleVen Women’s Aussie Tennis Dress by Venus Williams is a good example of this trend. The tank also plays off of the quiet versus bold dichotomy, starting off in white at the shoulders, then gradually working its way down to the boldest shade of the print.
