Things You Missed Thursdays – Oct 3

It’s been a busy week for our favorite tennis pros, with the men battling it out at the Japan Open and the women doing the same at the China Open. In between, they’ve squeezed in envy-inducing fun: champagne on the Great Wall of China, sumo wrestling in Tokyo, fashionista moments in Paris and private jet adventures.

Simona Halep celebrated her 28th birthday by popping champagne on China’s Great Wall. As one does.

Novak Djokovic found a worthy opponent while sumo wrestling in Tokyo. Bet he wasn’t feeling so number one right then…

Roger Federer managed to look dapper even when vegetable shopping in Shanghai. Wait, Roger’s vegetable shopping in Shanghai?! As if we couldn’t love him more!

Maria Sharapova glammed up in Paris and made us wonder if puffed sleeves will become the next fashion trend in women’s tennis apparel.

Bianca Andreescu did the same, but on the other side of the world. Girl’s shoe game is STRONG.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga proved that families that thumbs up together, stay together. Team Tsonga for the win!

Juan Martin del Potro matched his sweater to the multi-hued Argentinian mountains behind him. When’s this globetrotter going to write a travel memoir?

Serena Williams partook in some juicy girl talk during episode 1 of her IGTV show Galgaritas. Tune in for some serious tea spilling.

Stan Wawrinka continued to look boss while private jetting who knows where. This guy has got to be tennis’s most frequent flyer. Jealous? Us??

Bob Bryan found a novel use for the latest delivery of K-Swiss tennis shoes. Someone rescue that boy!
